Normally, softball bats are made of metal, wood or other material approved by the Softball Association of America. Usually, a softball bat weighs around 38 ounces (1 kg), with a diameter of 2.25 inches (6 cm) and less than 34 inches (86 cm) tall. In general, all BAT Softball manufacturers are required to certify their bats with "1.20BTFÂ" and standard BESR (Ball Exit Speed Ratio).
