Next Saturday is the celebration of Cinco de Mayo the defeat of Mexico in the army of Napoleon, 5 May 1862. They expect a big celebration of style as the NASCAR Nextel Cup and Busch teams head to Richmond Military International Raceway for the lights.

Jeff Gordon ahead of Earnhardt in Career Wins!
Seeing the closing stages of yesterday 499 of Aaron, I never would have imagined Jeff Gordon can win. He was mired back in 16th position in a single file package with 10 laps. Finally, Gordon, with help from teammate Tony Stewart and Jimmie Johnson began to make his assault on the leaders.
After pumping and weaving, and making his way forward, Gordon was able to overcome the position of Jamie McMurray lead before the yellow flag came out last. After the first round of what is supposed to finish green-white checkered, Gordon took the Mayhem broke out on victory in the bottom of the pack.
