The Band

The Rolling Stones are an English band who initially based their music on rhythm and blues and rock and roll. It met for the first time in London and after his first success in the UK, it soon became so popular in the United States as the "British Invasion" began in the early 1960.

In 1989, the Rolling Stones introduced into the U.S. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, was ranked number 4 in Rolling Stone 100 Greatest Artists of all time. The Rolling Stones are also ranked as the number 2 artists of all time Acclaimedmusic.net. The latest album by The Rolling Stones studio "A Bigger Bang 'was released in 2005 and followed by success in the Tour, which lasted until late summer 2007. In the 1969 U.S. tour, tour manager Sam Cutler introduced as "The Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the World".

The Rolling Stones Tongue was designed by pop artist John Pasche in 1970. The pop art design showed excellent well known Mick Jagger lips and rebellion the group and has been used by the Rolling Stones ever since.

Pasche was asked to produce the logo after Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger asked the Royal College of Art in London in 1969 to help find a design student. David Barrie, director of The Art Fund, said: "This iconic logo, first used in The Stones Sticky Fingers album, is one of the most visually dynamic logos ever created innovative. Designed in Britain for a British artist of one of the countries most groups of all time, it's wonderful now has found a permanent home in London, where the band formed originally.
