White Large
South Africa has two species of rhino, black rhino (Hook lips of the nose) and the white rhino (Square rhino's mouth). Of the two species, the White Rhino has the largest population, the number of + – 4000 in the Kruger National Park and only 400 black rhino. It's hard to believe there was at least 100 years fewer white rhino as the black rhino. The reason for this low population density of rhinos in the park was the result of excessive hunting and poaching. In mid of the 70 efforts' an enormous been done to increase their numbers by introducing rhino from Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve in the southern part of Park Kruger National. Another possible reason for the black rhino is so low that the number could be very anti-social against the white rhino, which are often seen in large flocks 10 to 15 or more. Black Rhino run less often, because of being anti-social.
White Rhino:
Scientific name: Ceratotherium simum
Weight: Adult males 2 000 – 2 500 kg, adult females 1 600 – 1800 kg.
Age: + – 45 years.
Gestation: 16 months.
Feeder and territoriality:
White Rhino are herbivores. They have wide, flat mouth can chew off large groups of feeding the grass. They spend much of their time grazing in the early morning and evening and during night. On warm days move in the shade to sleep or just cool roll in the mud and prey.
White Rhino bulls very territorial and on a daily basis, who patrol their territory, chasing bulls territorial intruders, and scent marking of the area to show its "presence. masculine scent marks with urine in trees and soil. After urinating on the ground the bull often drags its feet in the sand covered with urine to spread over a larger area. Urine underfoot also helps spread the scent of males even more by walking through its territory. The bull also has a number of groups in your field. A pile of manure is a large collection of manure left by the rhino in the same place. Each day, the bull tries to score as many of these delays. Reproduction:

Senses:
White Rhino is very poor vision but are perfectly capable of seeing objects moving. They have an excellent sense of smell and hearing. A rhino's ears are always moving, pick up any noise made about it. While still was asleep wiggle your ears to pick up any sound.
